The strength of CMOS is in its local Centres, which are located in all areas where there is a concentration of oceanographers and / or meteorologists.

Please do not forget that March 15, 2019 is the deadline to recognize your colleagues by nominating one or more of them to be a CMOS Fellow or CMOS Honorary Fellow. Click here for information about these designations and instructions on how to submit a nomination.

The 2019 CMOS Congress will be held in Montreal at the Palais des Congrès as part of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) General Assemby which runs from July 8 to 18. The CMOS specific portion will run between July 9 and 14. It is now possible to register and submit abstracts for the 239 sessions and symposia. CMOS members are eligible for a $50 rebate for a full registration. To be eligible you must provide your CMOS membership number and the code appearing on the CMOS home page when logged in as a member.
